Vista Board is designed with privacy as a core principle. All your data stays on your device — always.
Vista Board stores all your vision boards, images, and canvas data exclusively on your device using the iOS file system (app Documents directory).
We do not operate any servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure. Your data never leaves your device and is never transmitted over the internet by Vista Board.
When you delete the app, all associated data is permanently removed from your device by the operating system.
Vista Board requests access to your photo library solely to let you select and import images onto your vision boards. This is the core feature of the app.
Imported images are saved as JPEG files within the app's private Documents directory. Vista Board does not access, read, copy, or analyze any photos beyond those you explicitly choose to import.
You can revoke photo library permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos. Revoking access will prevent adding new images but will not affect boards you have already created.
Vista Board does not collect, process, or store any personally identifiable information (PII). There are no user accounts, login screens, or profile data.
We do not collect analytics, usage statistics, crash reports, device identifiers, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or any telemetry data.
No third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking frameworks are included in Vista Board.
Vista Board does not make any network requests. The app has no internet connectivity requirement and works entirely offline.
There are no third-party integrations, APIs, or external services. Your boards and images are never uploaded anywhere.
When you use the Export feature, a high-resolution snapshot of your board is saved directly to your device's Photos library. This export is performed locally and no copy is sent elsewhere.
Managing, sharing, or deleting exported images is governed by iOS and is entirely under your control.
Your vision board data is protected by the iOS sandbox — other apps cannot access Vista Board's Documents directory.
If you enable device-level encryption (which is on by default for devices with a passcode), your Vista Board data is encrypted at rest by iOS.
We recommend keeping your device up to date with the latest iOS security patches to ensure the best protection.
Vista Board does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected at all, Vista Board is compliant with COPPA and similar regulations.
Parents and guardians can confidently allow children to use Vista Board without privacy concerns.
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date and release a new version of the app.
Because Vista Board collects no data, changes to this policy will never affect how any of your personal information is handled — there is none to handle.
